2451	Tripod, W. & L. E. Gurley, model 81, patented in 1878, early extension leg. Last shown
SOLD	in the 1893 catalog. Made for use with the 12 inch Architects Wye Levels. I½" X 12
	female thread, top diameter is 3 1/8 inches. Comes with male thread adapter that
	has I½" X 12 male threads on one side and has I 11/16" X 14 male threads on the other.
	It is held in place by four screws that are for sure Gurley threads and it appears to
	have been done early on or even when it was ordered from Gurley. Two clamps are
	replacements and two clamps are repaired, one extension leg has a slight warp in it,
	and there are two screw holes that held one extension leg in place and a split in the wood
	between two of the clamps that does not affect the strength. Please see the photos.
