 2443 -   Transit, C.L.Berger & Sons, 4C Mining Transit, with auxiliary telescope, (both
               scopes are inverted image) 4" one minute horizontal circle, 4" vertical circle.
               10" tall, with Berger extension leg tripod, lens caps, sun shade, and box.
               Originally sold to Lallie Surveying Instrument and Supply Co., Denver, CO.
               on August 26th 1910. Smallest of the Berger transits.  Excellent condition.

2449 Mining Transit, C. L. Berger & Sons, model 4½ H Wet Mine
4½" 1 minute horizontal circle, 4" 1 minute enclosed vertical circle
graduated on the edge. With Auxiliary telescope, 2 lens caps, 
right angle eyepiece prism, and home made box using interior 
supports from the original box. Instrument is in good condition.
Originally sold in 1936 to the Hughs Owen Co., Montreal, Canada

  Model 101, 6¼ inch 30 second horizontal circle, 5 inch 1 minute vertical circle.
  With Stadia cross hairs, sun shade, lens, box, copy of manual and original catalog sheet.
  made around 1955 by George Kegelman who worked for Heller & Brightly until 1946.
  In good useable condition , calibrated. Very few of these transits were made.

Please refer to the three photos included for condition. They are typical and also show the
  only apparent scratches to the finish. The lenses etc. are excellent, no scratches
  or coating problems. Every thing functions except seeing the vertical and horizontal circles.
